What is your role at VSO?

I am the Vice President for Federal at VSO. I work with Defense, Intelligence, and Federal Civilian government agencies as well as VSO’s industry partners to deliver best in class service to the U.S. Public Sector. VSO supports cloud adoption and migration, IT transformation, and managed services for some of the largest federal government clients, to include: Department of Health and Human Services, Department of Veterans Affairs, Department of Energy, Department of Justice, and Department of the Defense.

What experience did you have before joining VSO?

I started my career in the Marine Corps, where I served in Iraq and Afghanistan as well as various countries throughout the Middle East and Africa. I have been in the U.S. Public Sector for over 15 years, where I have served in a variety of capacities, such as a program manager, contacting officer, and sales leader. In various positions as a Federal employee and as a part of Systems Integrators and technology companies, I have supported many federal agencies and worked across the Department of Defense and Intelligence Community.

What brought you to VSO?

Foremost, as a military veteran, I was drawn to the mission and sense of purpose at VSO. Supporting veterans and providing an enriching career path isn’t just something VSO does – it’s who we are.

What is something you love about VSO?

Other than my military service, I have never worked somewhere that I truly enjoy every day on the job. I consider myself extremely fortunate to work with an organization that has the rare combination of people, vision, mission, and drive. This ethos is ingrained throughout our company and is routinely echoed through the feedback I receive from our customers. I could not be prouder of what VSO and our team has done and what we are still doing today.

What keeps you busy outside of VSO?

I am blessed with a wonderful wife and five beautiful children. I spend every free moment I can with them – we enjoy being outdoors, watching movies, sports, and quality time with grandparents.
